Regulations:
– Composition accompanied by piano not more than 5 minutes, not necessarily until the end of the composition. We recommend the recordings to be with good acoustic quality.
– Orchestra difficulties. Each musician should download the music notes from the link and record the designated places, one after another in one video with pauses between.

This year, all students from grades 8 to 12 with majors: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, timpani, violin, viola, cello, contra-bass from music schools and schools from the country and abroad can participate in the competition. The summer music academy will be in the period 8th till 17th of August in Shipka. All expenses for food and accommodation will be covered by Foundation “Academia Roza.”
The musicians will have the opportunity to experience the orchestral art with Maestro Maxim Eshkenazi, and this summer a special guest will be the world-famous Bulgarian violinist Svetlin Russev!
The laureates will receive valuable advice from experienced musicians and teachers – Krasimir Kostadinov from Sofia Philharmonic (French horn), Konstantina Todorova from Varna Opera (bassoon), Stanislava Stoykova from Staatskapelle Berlin (viola).
Program:
This summer, in addition to the cities of Shipka and Kazanlak, a free concert will also be held in the city of Plovdiv. The selected compositions are:
Overture “Coriolan” op. 62 by Ludwig van Beethoven;
Concerto for violin and orchestra by F. Mendelssohn in E minor, solist Svetlin Russev;
Symphony No. 8 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
