Plamen Nikolov is born in Varna, April 21st 1971.
He graduated from
the German Language High School in the sea town. From 1992 to 2006 he
studied economics, lived and worked in Vienna, Austria. During his
students’ years in the European capital his passion for the classical
music became stronger. Plamen believes that in Bulgaria there are many
talented young people, who are eager for new opportunities and live
performances. His dream is to revive the philanthropy and this is one
of the reasons to establish Academia Roza in Shipka where his work
brought him as a general manager of the newly build rose distillery in
the region – Terra Roza.
On August 15th 2020, Plamen made a special gift for the town’s day
celebration – a classical music concert with the singers and musician
form Varna opera. The reverberation from the event continues to this
day. The local people were so grateful and inspired by this concert
that their gratitude led Plamen to invest his effort and time to make
Shipka an annual stage for performances of young musicians and give
the chance to the local people from the small towns to enjoy the
beauty of the classical music in live.
